EU Referendum – may common sense prevail

For the last 75 years I have lived in Britain and remember a little about the Second World War. It is tragic that from those early days when we “won the war” with others, we are now facing the results of our efforts. Being a cynic, I think there has been a “long term conspiracy” to ruin our country by unknown forces – who are they? We often blame our Government but it goes much deeper than that. I do not trust some members of the ruling classes because they do not seem to be interested in what is best for the common people; also any “deals” which the Prime Minister negotiated with the EU may be over-ruled by them if we stay in the EU anyway. Some 70 demands about changes in EU Rules by Britain have been turned down every time by the other 27 EU member countries over the last few years. The EU is run by an unelected body and can never be voted out. It is there only to serve the best long term interests of a few “top” European countries. In Britain we believe in democracy and although it is far from perfect, at least at every General Election it is the people who have the final say as to what they want.

What we need is a third powerful political party to bring common sense into the equation and from what I have seen and read so far, I truly hope that the groups representing the “EU Outers” will get together and form such a party. We can no longer put up with the huge waste of money spent on the EU and its members. We want our country back so that once again we can be a major influence on the world stage representing NATO, World Health Organisation, The Group of Seven (G7) -an informal bloc of industrialized democracies, The Group of Twenty (G20) – the premier forum for its members’ international economic cooperation and decision-making, etc otherwise it will be the EU alone representing the UK and most other European countries in these Groups.

We are just still recognised as a great country and that is why I think that the other 27 countries are jealous of us and want to keep us under control. That’s not for us – for our sake and that of future generations let us leave the EU on 23rd June 2016. If you think that in the long term, Britain will be able to retain its own currency – British Pound Sterling then you are living in cuckoo land! Sooner or later we will be forced into the Euro monetary system by a vote of 27/33 to 1 and, for instance, we will not have our own special veto to stop Turkey joining the EU. In particular, we must now stop this uncontrolled level of immigration. The EU wants Britain to be part of their European Military Army and controlled by them. The EU says that Britain will be more secure by voting to stay in. How can that be? The EU was responsible for military chaos in Bosnia etc in the 90s and like a red rag to a bull they want the Ukraine to join the EU. As we all know Russia is not going to let that happen! It appears that the EU wishes to form a united states of Europe controlled by an unelected elitist group. Doesn’t that remind you of history in Europe from the past?

But as an independent country we can control immigration, regain our territorial fishing grounds and agricultural policies. In 2015 the UK government paid £13 billion to the EU budget and EU spending on the UK was £4.5 billion. So the UK’s net contribution was estimated at about £8.5 billion which is money we can plough back into our own country, regain control of our own legal system and military forces, rethink our foreign aid policy and use the money for our own homeless, disabled people and supporting the NHS, disposal of EU red tape which stifles our trade and businesses, renegotiate our own trade deals with EU countries and around the world generally. Britain would still continue to be one of the world’s most generous contributors to help nations requiring financial help.

We must leave in order to protect the interests of future generations. The Government has produced so much bulls..t that to the uninitiated it has baffled their brains! It is disgraceful that so much fear has been communicated to the nation at large. It is only the older generation that really understands what is going on. The younger generation have not been taught very much about our proud heritage and experienced what their parents and grandparents have been through. If the younger ones had all the facts they would vote to leave. We are the 5th wealthiest country and have the 6th largest military force in the world. To those who say that it is better to stay in the EU – you know  “ the devil you know!” forget it otherwise we will probably be controlled by the EU for the next 50 years or so OR as they say “no gain without pain!” let us be GREAT BRITAIN again and renegotiate our future with some short term pain! In the 1940s we stood alone for 9 months!!

Finally, food for thought – Britain would be better off leaving the EU if the Transalantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is implemented. Please copy and paste the following:-

Singing-with-Confidence..Part.2..My-Aim-is-Perfection!…

Singing-with-Confidence..Part.2..My-Aim-is-Perfection!…

It will be some time before I achieve perfection !

My simple aim is to encourage you to sing and to take part in my training courses – in fact I am learning along with you and to helping you too!

Simple Tips about the Equipment you should Use when Singing

When listening to a video recording always use a set of headphones – they are not very expensive but the sound quality is so much better.

Vector Headphone

This may be an obvious thing to say but I just tell you as it is!

Also I find that using a microphone gives you a better quality of performance when you listen to the recording! If you haven’t already got a reasonable quality microphone I would recommended you to purchase one.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Of course, like most things in life you often have to experiment but there is nothing better than getting advice from a good friend who has had some experience in this area. You could google search – singing microphones: I saw this link as follows:-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=singing+microphones&tag=mh0a9

Prices vary enormously from as little as £8.00 up to £20.00 – £30.00 and much more! Perhaps a personal recommendation may be a good way to start your search! All I would say is that a microphone is one of your most important tools. It’s perhaps a case of “suck it and see!” ANYWAY, don’t worry about that too much at this stage.

Karaoke - elvis_presley-1648

The more you sing the better you get – Elvis Presley said once that you should sing for at least half an hour every day in order to keep your voice strong and “supple.”

We will sing and learn together!

Let me tell you more about what we will be covering in the weeks ahead:-

* Posture, breathing properly and your tones
* Once you have an idea of the basic information we will work on your singing voice
* To make your voice sound “smoother” leading onto all that “rock & roll!”
* Developing your technic – feel good when you sing
* Choosing the right songs for your voice – most important
* Feeling relaxed when singing
* Feel the fear and do it anyway – this will just get better each time
* Become good at singing – you can if you want to – it is up to you
* But above all have fun when you are singing

Now let’s have a break and tell you about:-

How To Sing With Confidence – here is a short but important video:-

In Part 1 there were videos highlighting Cliff Richard and The Shadows – The Young Ones and Take Me Home, Country Roads – John Denver which just happens to be my signature song!

Singing-gives-You-the-Joy-of-Gaining-Confidence-Follow-Me..Part 1

 Singing-gives-You-the-Joy-of-Gaining-Confidence-Follow-Me..Part 1

Sing-With-Confidence-Step 1 Teaching you about singing for pleasure – a simple guide but so much more! And I will be learning too right alongside you!

You can’t develop your singing voice overnight – it takes time. Some people are born with a voice ready to sing on the world stage but most people who like to sing have to work on their voice to prepare it for their first performance, whatever that may be!

Exercising the singing voice is the secret to success. Just singing songs is okay but you should work on your technique to get your songs to sound great. Because you are reading this blog, I assume that you have an interest in singing and discovering how to improve your singing. You don’t need any previous experience or knowledge about singing. Singing is one of the best means of expression and communication out there and will develop your confidence over a period of time. I am speaking from personal experience!

Singing well is about knowing how to work the parts that create the sound for singing. Usually singers are keen to know their type of voice because they often want to know what category to belong to:-

  • Soprano: Higher female voice
  • Mezzo: Lower female voice
  • Tenor: Higher male voice
  • Base: Lower male voice

It is something to think about but you don’t have to figure it out straight away.  However, once you have identified what type, it will help you in choosing “songs that are right for you.” If you would like some help here just let me know by sending me an email – I am sure “we will work it out!”

This is just meant to be a simple introduction to the world of singing but it is not only about this – it will also help you in so many different ways as you will discover as we “tread the boards.” As you will discover I like to quote words from a song because so often those words come to mind and describe exactly what I mean or I am getting at – I hope that is alright with you! Now, I will be writing blogs on singing on a regular basis – to be sure that you receive these FREE blogs directly to your email inbox, please send me the following details by email:-

Now let’s have a break and tell you about:- Cliff Richard and The Shadows – The Young Ones Cliff Richard Young ones Believe or not this message is for the Young Ones and/or The Old Ones alike!

In the song the message is there – do not waste your life because as you grow older you may regret some things that you should have done when we were young, ambitious and full of energy! Sing a song every day first thing in the morning – what a great way to be happy and feel more confident. http://www.redkaraoke.com/profile/noahsarkio/recordings/371856 This is my first real attempt to sing Cliff Richard – if I am brave enough to do it, why not you have a go!

DON’T FORGET WE ARE ALL HERE TO LEARN TOGETHER. Take Me Home, Country Roads – John Denver John Denver Country roads

By the way, some of you may know that I enjoy Karaoke evenings and the wonders of technology that go with it! Here is my signature song! Here is the link – http://www.redkaraoke.com/profile/noahsarkio/recordings/370586
